Something of the stars.

We come from farther away than space and longer ago than time. Evolution and genetics and environment explain a lot about us but they don’t explain all about us or even the most important thing about us. Though we live in the world, we can never be entirely at home in the world. We have something of God within us the way we have something of the stars. .

I wonder if there's a Bible study out there somewhere tailored specifically for a nerdy-dreamy-universalist-liberal?

Aloha!

Sorry to gatecrash your blog, but I noticed you were a fan of Jorge Garcia's (Lost's "Hurley") blog!!

If you are a Lost fan, you may be interested in a competition I am running where I am giving away a free t-shirt!

To enter, simply email lostquestions23@gmail.com and answer this Lost related question:

- Describe how you would have Lost Season 6 end: who will survive, who will die, and what will happen in the last scene?

More details are available at http://superduperstream.blogspot.com/2010/02/cafepress-competition-1.html , but it really is THAT simple.

I hope this was of interest to you :)
